One address reaches everything here — the finder, the catalogue behind it, and whoever has to fix it.

There is no phone line and no counter to walk up to. DownTo1 Bikes is a small independent project, so mail goes straight to the person who can act on it rather than into a support queue. Expect a reply within a few working days; a busy week can make it longer, and a message that needs the catalogue changed may be answered by the change itself.

Writing in English gets the quickest answer, but German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish are all fine.

A factual error in the catalogue

The most valuable mail this project receives. A claimed weight that is wrong, a groupset listed at the wrong tier, a price that has moved for good, a model that has been discontinued or replaced by a new generation, a geometry figure that does not match the manufacturer's own chart.

Please name the bike and, if you can, point at the source — a manufacturer spec page settles it fastest. Corrections are made ahead of everything else, because a ranking built on a wrong number is worse than no ranking.

A bike that should be covered

The catalogue is deliberately curated rather than exhaustive (see how the catalogue is chosen), so a missing model is not always an oversight — but plenty of them are. Tell us the exact model and build, the market you are in, and, most usefully, which kind of rider it serves better than anything currently listed. That last part is what decides it.

The same goes for a retailer: if a shop covers a market properly and is missing from the price links, say so.

A data-protection request

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection under the GDPR — write to the address above and say which right you are exercising. Bear in mind there are no accounts and no forms on this site: your answers never leave your browser, so in most cases there is genuinely nothing held about you.

The privacy policy is the formal document: it sets out what is and is not processed, the legal bases, the controller's identity and the supervisory authority you can complain to. Send formal requests there rather than relying on this page.

A business enquiry

Retailer coverage, regional availability, affiliate programme enquiries, press questions about the method, or a correction about your own products — all welcome at the same address.

One thing that is not available at any price: placement. Ranking position, inclusion in the catalogue and the wording of a bike's file cannot be bought, sponsored or traded, and the scoring engine has no access to the commerce side of the app in the first place. The About page explains how the ranking is decided.

Two things we cannot help with

Orders and deliveries. This site sells nothing. If you bought from a retailer we linked to, the order, the payment, the warranty and the delivery are between you and that retailer — they can resolve it far faster than we can.

Personal buying advice by email. The finder exists precisely so the answer comes from your own constraints instead of a stranger's guess. Run it — and if the result looks wrong to you, that is a correction worth writing about, and a far more useful message than the question would have been.
